Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician

Join our team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a locum tenens position in Washington. This opportunity offers 24-hour shifts and ongoing assignments, providing flexibility and a chance to make a significant impact in patient care.

Job Description

• Multi-facility coverage
• 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM
• Work 2 weeks per month; 3 shifts per week
• Duration: 6 to 9 months
• Credentialing timeframe: 60 days minimum
• Manage labor & delivery patients (no docs)
• Assist CNMs/FPOBs
• GYN coverage in the ER
• Level 1 nursery
• Inpatient and outpatient coverage
• Hospital duties include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, triage after RN report, ED consults, and GYN surgeries as necessary
• Patients per day: 2 to 5
• Support staff includes L&D RNs, CNMs, FPOBs, X-ray tech, MA, RN, LPN/LVN, Lab tech
• Call room available on site (private for OB provider)
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified OBGYN highly preferred; truly Board Eligible is acceptable
• Washington license highly preferred; IMLC will be considered
• BLS certification
• DEA registration
• Clean malpractice/background highly preferred (no pending cases)
• Local provider highly preferred
