Join our team for a full-time coverage opportunity in California, beginning in October. This position is ideal for those looking to provide essential breast imaging services.

Job Description

• Coverage needed:
  • October 13-17
  • Thanksgiving week: November 24-26
  • December 22-24
  • December 29-31
• Shift description: 8am-5pm (4 days per week)
• Average number of cases per day:
  • Screens: 41
  • Diagnostics: 7.2
  • MRIs: 2.1
  • Stereotactic Biopsies: 0.2
  • Ultrasound Biopsies: 1.1
  • MRI Biopsies: 0.1
  • Breast Ultrasounds: 5.2
  • Total cases: 56.9
• EMR systems used: Powerscribe, EPIC, Hologic
• Number of exam rooms: 2-3
• Number of radiologists in practice: 5
• Support staff includes associated mammography and ultrasound techs
• No teleradiology used for breast imaging
• Patient demographics: Predominantly adult women with breast imaging needs (35+)

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology (ABR or AOBR)
• Active California license
• Breast Fellowship-trained (highly preferred)
• BLS certification (highly preferred)
• Provider must be available for all scheduled dates
• Required procedures: Mammography, MRI Breast, and Breast Procedures
