Job Description

• Coverage from April 30 to May 3, 7 AM to 7 AM
• Average callback hours: Weekday: 6.62 hours, Weekend: 6.13 hours
• Credentialing timeframe: 30 days (Emergency temporary privileges available)

Requirements

• Board Certified in General Surgery or truly Board Eligible (0-5 years from residency completion)
• Active Colorado license or active IMLC
• ATLS certification
• DEA (site will consider a transferred DEA; must maintain this DEA for the full assignment duration, not just shifts worked)
• Clean malpractice/background

Preferred Procedures/Skills

• ATLS certification
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• DEA certification
• Colorado license

Assignment Details

• Setting: Inpatient, Emergency Room, Level III Trauma
• Number of beds: 39
• Days per month: Ongoing for all locums
• Support staff: Echo tech, lab tech, nuclear tech, X-ray tech
• Patient population: Pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric
• EMR: EPIC
