Urology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Urologist to provide 24-hour call coverage as a Urohospitalist at a busy Level 1 Trauma Center in South Carolina.

Job Description

• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage, including rounding, procedures, and consults
• Patient Volume: 20-25 inpatients over the weekend, plus 15-20 consults
• Trauma Cases: Must be comfortable with open procedures, including gunshot and stab wounds (kidneys, testicles, bladder repair)
• Support: No APP coverage on weekends
• EMR: EPIC
• Procedures: Stone care, stents, catheters, cystoscopies, pediatric torsions, incidental appendectomy, adrenal surgery, hernia repair, endourology procedures, hand-assisted laparoscopic nephrectomy
