    Locum Radiation Oncologist

    A hospital in Wisconsin is in need of a Locum Radiation Oncologist for locums coverage on an ongoing basis!

    Job Description

    • A busy, hospital-based Radiation Oncology practice in Duluth, MN is seeking locum tenens coverage starting August 1, ongoing. This opportunity arises due to the retirement of a long-standing physician. The practice is part of an ACS Commission on Cancer-certified Cancer Center and is known for its collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to cancer care.
    • Schedule: Minimum of 3 clinic days per week (0.6 FTE)
    • Call: 50/50 shared hospital consultation call split with second Radiation Oncologist
    • Patient Volume:
      • Clinic Visits/Day: 10-15 (includes OTVs)
      • Daily Treatment Volume: Average of 25 patients on TrueBeam

    Requirements

    • Must hold a Minnesota medical license or be eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)

    Facility & Support Team

    • Full-time on-site dosimetry with a pay-per-plan model for high volume
    • Hybrid physics team: on-site every other week, remote support available at all times
    • Radiation Therapists and 2 RNs dedicated to the practice
    • 3 administrative/office staff
    • On-site CT simulation
    • Shared suite with Medical Oncology & Infusion Therapy for integrated care
    • Weekly Multidisciplinary Tumor Boards (Thursdays) - Locum participation welcome
    • Weekly chart rounds on Wednesdays with both Radiation Oncologists
