Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to take a permanent job position in a neonatal setting. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits. The NP/PA will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, working collaboratively with physicians, medical staff, and patients to support the health and well-being of our community.
Job Description
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Formulate diagnoses, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide counseling on prevention and health promotion.
- Perform various medical procedures within scope of practice (e.g., suturing, casting, injections, etc.), as needed.
- Work in close collaboration with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
- Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle changes, and treatment plans to promote health and well-being.
- Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary, and follow up on any ongoing treatments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide coverage for weekends or holidays as needed.
- Ensure that patient care adheres to institutional guidelines, state and federal regulations, and best practice standards.
Requirements

Education:
- Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree in Nursing (NP program) from an accredited institution.
- Physician Assistant: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Licensure/Certification:
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Board Certification through relevant certifying body, e.g., NCCPA for PAs, ANCC or AANP for NPs.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Neonatal.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, treatment options, and patient care protocols.

Skills:
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and educate patients.
- Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as necessary to perform medical duties.
- Ability to respond to emergencies and manage critical situations as required.
