Clinical Lab Supervisor

I'm hiring for a Clinical Lab Supervisor in New York! The Lab Supervisor functions as the managing technologist, under the guidance of the Lab Director, and is responsible for being part of a multi-disciplinary team in the planning, development, and implementation of objectives for the Lab. The Lab Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all technical and logistical functions to ensure prompt and accurate testing and reporting of results for all laboratory samples within established timeframes. The Lab Supervisor functions within the scope of practice regulated by State and National government as well as various accrediting agencies.

Job Description

• Coordinate all technical and logistical functions to ensure prompt and accurate testing and reporting of results for all laboratory samples within established timeframes.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary team in the planning, development, and implementation of objectives for the Lab.

Requirements

• College degree
• ASCP certification
• NY license
• 6 years lab experience, including leadership
