The Histology Supervisor performs a vital part of the patient care process through embedding and preparing slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures; performs and documents scheduled preventative maintenance; and recognizes when troubleshooting is needed for processing, embedding, cutting, and staining.

Job Description

• Perform embedding and preparation of slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures
• Document scheduled preventative maintenance
• Recognize when troubleshooting is needed for processing, embedding, cutting, and staining

Requirements

• College degree
• ASCP certification
• Prior experience, including leadership
