Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

Join our team as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in an inpatient setting. This position offers a structured schedule with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Job Description

• Provide medical, psychiatric, and nursing care for acute and chronic health problems
• Promote wellness through preventive and intervention methods
• Evaluate, manage, and initiate referrals in line with patient needs and clinical protocols
• Offer telephonic consultation and after-hours/weekend call duty when necessary

Requirements

• Master's in Nursing from an accredited university or college
• Florida licensure as a registered nurse and certification as an APRN
• Specialty education or training in psychiatry
• Certification by ANCC as a Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing
• Minimum of one year of experience as an ANCC board certified Psychiatric APRN
• Current CPR and CPI certifications
