NP/PA CVOR First Assist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a First Assist. This position will be based in Winterville, NC.

Job Description

• Provide assistance during cardiovascular surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Assist the surgical team in ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care activities.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Requirements

• Current NP or PA license in the state of North Carolina (or willing to obtain).
• Certification as a CVOR First Assist is preferred.
• Prior experience working in a CVOR setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
