    Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

    $20,000 hiring bonus for eligible rehire and external candidates who meet all conditions for payment - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

    This position will include four, 10-hour shifts which will allow you to have 3-day weekends!

    Under general supervision of the Practice Administrator/Manager, and according to established policies and procedures, operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of routine and specialized technical procedures. Competency and efficiency in operating various ultrasound machines and probes to achieve high-quality images for detailed fetal anatomic surveys, transvaginal ultrasounds, biophysical profiles, specialized Doppler studies, fetal echocardiography, nuchal translucencies, amniocentesis, and other procedures as needed.

    Job Description

    • Successful completion of an accredited academic program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent program.
    • National Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire.
    • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.
    • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
    • 3 years of Perinatal Sonographic experience.
