Job Description

• Faculty position includes oversight and precepting of residents in outpatient settings
• Faculty appointment with Nova Southeastern KPCOM
• Dedicated adjacent faculty-resident continuity clinic
• Standard office hours and minimal call requirements
• Participation in the submission of scholarly projects within the department and nationally
• Responsible for academic advising and related activities
• Clinic-based utilizing Epic EMR platform
• 60 resident internal medicine program
• 892-bed comprehensive tertiary referral hospital with Level II trauma center and Level III NICU
• Busiest ED in the nation: 215k visits per year
• Fostering team camaraderie amongst other GME programs, including EM, GS, Psych, and Pulmonary and Critical Care

Requirements

• Must be board certified/board eligible through ABMS or AOA
• Must have current Florida medical license or ability to obtain one
• 2-3 years of clinical experience in the outpatient setting post-residency preferred
• 2 years GME faculty experience preferred but not required
