Locum Tenens Opportunity: Physiatrist (PM&R)

Join our team for a locum tenens opportunity as a Physiatrist in Fort Collins, Colorado. This position is located in a 300-bed hospital Level III Trauma Center, offering a flexible schedule and a supportive practice environment.

Job Description

• Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday weekly + flexible weekend call (every 4th to 7th weekend)
• Shift: Day 7 AM to 5 PM; Night call 5 PM to 7 AM (low call volume, minimal callbacks)
• Group Size: 7 PM&R Physicians
• Practice Setting: 100% Adult Inpatient Rehabilitation

Caseload & Practice Mix

• Average patients per day: 14
• PM&R breakdown:
  • Sports/Ortho Rehab: 33%
  • CNS Rehab: 50%
  • Medical Rehab: 17%

Worksite Resources

• 14 exam rooms
• Onsite X-ray
• Epic EMR (Hospital system)
• Affiliated hospital transfers common within miles

Required Procedures & Setting

• Sub-acute inpatient rehabilitation facility
• Supervision of other providers not required during locum coverage

Requirements

• Board Certified Physiatrist (No Board Eligible) Required
• Active State Medical License Required
