Urologist
A hospital is seeking a bread-and-butter Urologist for clinic and call coverage for 3 to 6 months. This is a fast-paced, high-volume opportunity where the provider will be the sole urologist. Ideal candidates enjoy a wide variety of general urology cases, clinic, rounding, and OR work. A robot is available onsite (robotic procedures not required). Clinic orientation and tour will be provided prior to the start date.

- Weekday: 0.5 hrs
- Weekend: 2 hrs

Dates of Coverage:
- March: 2, 6, 9
- April: 1, 3, 6
- May: 4, 8
- June: 1, 5, 8
- July onward: Every week open
- Call schedule released 1 month in advance

Schedule & Setting:
- Clinic: 8 AM to 4 PM
- Night Call: 5 PM to 8 AM (not every shift)
- 24-Hour Call: 7 AM to 7 AM (1:6 rotation)
- Minimum Assignment: 3 months
- Clinic + Call: Minimum 5 to 6 call days plus clinic

- Support Staff: 2 RNs, MA, surgery scheduler, 2 front office staff
- Admissions: Hospitalist team present

Procedures Include: General urology, cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate biopsy, TURP, uroflow/cuff, bladder scans, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, ESWL, Botox injections, and more.
Requirements
- Board Certified (Highly Preferred) or Truly Board Eligible
- Active WA License or IMLC (LOQ in hand at submission)
- BLS, DEA required (ACLS preferred)
- Ability to cover 80% of listed dates
- Clean malpractice history preferred
Credentialing
- Timeframe: 3 months
- Credentialing deadline is 3 weeks prior to start date
- Providers with potential credentialing delays will not be considered
Travel
- Preferred lodging
- Local candidates preferred for air travel
- Travel exceptions must be disclosed at submission
