    Hematologist/Medical Oncologist

    Due to rapid growth, Lee Health Cancer Institute seeks three full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Hematologists/Medical Oncologists to join a six-physician group in Fort Myers, Florida. This position offers a collaborative work environment where you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, including an Advanced Practice Provider, registered nurse, and medical assistant assigned to your practice. The position also offers flexible work schedules, hybrid/telemedicine options, manageable patient loads, and reasonable call schedules.

    Our cancer center cares for 5,911 analytic cases annually and is committed to a patient-centered, multidisciplinary approach. We provide advanced therapies, clinical trials, and cutting-edge medical, surgical, and radiation treatment. Opportunities for research, leadership and mentorship programs, continuing medical education (CME) support, and conference funding are available.

    Integrated services such as nurse navigation, genetic counseling, social work, dietetics, cancer rehabilitation, and financial counseling benefit patients and their families. As a medical professional, these services provide you with the support and resources to focus on your patient's medical needs, ensuring comprehensive and empathetic care.

    Requirements

    • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology
    • Graduated from an accredited school of medicine (allopathic or osteopathic)
    • Completed an accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship
    • Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license
    • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
