    Job Description

    • Duke Lifepoint's Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join a large, hospital-employed Cardiology group, with an immediate need. It’s a great opportunity for an incoming physician to take over an established patient base.
    • FryeCare Cardiology is a collegial group that provides outstanding patient care to the greater Hickory area.
    • The group consists of 12 cardiologists with a mix of Interventional, Invasive, EP, and General Cardiologists. Structural Heart. CV Surgery back-up.
    • Stemi call is shared and will be 1:7.
    • Focus on PCI is strongly needed.
    • Physicians will primarily work out of the offices in Hickory, with rotations at nearby satellite clinic in Lincolnton as well.
    • The Frye Heart Center is the first Duke Health heart affiliate in western North Carolina. Backed by the resources of the Duke Heart Center, FRMC has access to the most current Duke training and staff education, evidence-based guidelines, and practices when it comes to heart and heart-related issues.
    • Hickory is conveniently located to Winston-Salem, Asheville, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Located just 3 hours from the Carolina beaches and an hour from the Smoky Mountains.
