Cardiology Opportunity

Great North Carolina cardiology opportunity for vacancy/permanent search coverage starting 6/3/24 or ASAP and ongoing. Two providers are requested as the hospital expands its provider pool, including the addition of clinic time Monday through Friday while covering call. Clinic coverage will start at 2 hours per day but will ramp up as needed. On-site hospitalists will admit, bed patients, and consult on necessary patients.

Job Description

• Inpatient and outpatient scheduled clinical hours plus call
• Shift: Clinic Monday through Friday plus call
• Call response: 30 minutes
• Call ratio: 1:1
• Call back percentage: 100%
• Average call per 24 hours:
  • Phone consults: 0-10
  • Patients seen: 0-10
  • Admissions: 0-2
• Both roundings at an 86-bed hospital
• Admissions required
• No teaching or supervision required
• EMR: McKesson Paragon
• Expenses covered, weekly pay, and occurrence form malpractice insurance provided
