Wound Care Specialist

Great opportunity for Family Practice coverage starting 4/15/24 or ASAP and ongoing. We are requesting one provider but will accept multiple providers for our outpatient Wound Care Center.

Job Description

• Wound Care Specialist needed.
• Will consider any type of provider that can debride wounds and is comfortable with procedures and dermatological procedures.
• Every provider must go through a 53-hour wound care/HBO training before they can be credentialed with the hospital. This is an online training that can be done at home.
• Once complete, the provider can be credentialed and scheduled; the provider can then work at any Healogic site after being credentialed at each site - the training is a one-time deal.
• This assignment may involve 2 locations, very close to each other. The second is a satellite location to the main Center.
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. No call, no weekends, no holidays.
• Support staff: 2 RNs, 2 office staff.
• No teaching or supervision required.
• EMR: Iheal.
• Expenses covered, weekly pay, and occurrence form malpractice insurance provided.
