Gastroenterology Opportunity

Excellent Gastroenterology opportunity for vacancy/permanent search coverage starting 7/1/24 or ASAP and ongoing.

Job Description

• 2 providers requested: 1 provider for procedures only and 1 provider for procedures and ER call.
• Schedule: 1 week of call per month, 4 days a week of procedures, and 1 day a week of clinic.
• Inpatient & outpatient scheduled clinical hours + call shift: Hospital - 8 AM to 8 AM Mon.-Sun.; Clinic - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8 AM to 1 PM or 5 PM.
• Call response time: 20 minutes.
• Call ratio: 1:4.
• Call back percentage: 40%.
• Procedure time allotted: 45 minutes.
• 100% adults, with 30% clinic and 70% hospital.
• Practice consists of 2 physicians and 1 mid-level provider.
• Support staff includes 3 MAs, 1 PA/NP, and 2 office staff.
• Locum to supervise NP.
• EMR: EPIC.
