Pulmonology Opportunity

Great Wisconsin Pulmonology opportunity for supplemental coverage starting 7/1/24 or ASAP and ongoing. One provider requested.

Job Description

• Inpatient & outpatient pulmonology (no critical care)
• Scheduled clinical hours + in-house call
• Ongoing full-time coverage from July to August, September, and beyond
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Call: Monday to Friday, 12 PM to 5 PM each day for pulmonology patients only
• No MICU coverage, no night or weekend call
• Locum will be the solo physician until the regular physician returns in late August
• Bronchoscopies are required, done in outpatient surgery in the hospital (staffed by respiratory therapists and registered nurses)
• EBUS needed
• Both rounding and admissions required
• Patient panel size: 15
• Trauma Level 2 facility
• One department APC works Monday to Thursday each week
• Provider required to supervise APPs
• Support staff includes RNs, MAs, PAs/NPs, and office staff
• EMR: Cerner
