Psychiatrist

Locums, Inc. is seeking Psychiatrists for permanent placement with Essex County at the Essex County Hospital Center. Candidates are being sought for being on standby for permanent placement. Each successful candidate will be responsible for psychiatric evaluations, psychopharmacologic management, individual psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.

Job Description

• Hours Monday through Friday for approximately 40 hours per week; hours are flexible
• Malpractice insurance provided by the ECHC
• Successful candidate will become an employee of ECHC
• Patients of the hospital are on-site
• Candidate would see 28 to 32 patients per day
• On-call opportunities are available

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted New Jersey state license
• Board Certified/Eligible for Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted New Jersey DEA registration
• Minimum of 3 professional references
