Psychiatrist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Virginia

An inpatient facility is looking for a psychiatrist to cover PRN weekdays and weekends. The facility is located in Virginia. This position requires availability for PRN vacation covering during the week and weekends as needed, working with adult and geriatric patients. Board certification is required, and the provider can expect to see up to 20 patients per day. EPIC experience is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Cover PRN weekdays and weekends
• Work with adult and geriatric patients
• See up to 20 patients per day
• Treat cases including depression with psychosis, depression without psychosis, schizoaffective disorder, and recurrent major depressive disorder

Requirements

• Board certification required
• Prescriptive authority required
• Availability for part-time shifts (16 hours)
• Call required
