Advance Practice Provider
Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Surgery - RUHS, is seeking advance practice providers to join their team at Riverside University Health System. The APP provides swing shift support, late afternoon to evening, supporting surgical services in this busy Level 1 trauma center. Ideal candidates must be certified AGACNP or PA surgical providers. The position requires strong perioperative management, understanding of the care and management of the surgical patient, and an ability to identify and initiate treatment of life-threatening conditions. The ideal candidate identifies and solves complex clinical problems, works well in a team, is adaptable in a dynamic clinical environment, and communicates effectively with team members and supervising trauma surgeons. Communicates effectively in transitions of care between other APPs and residents. Position requires special skills and knowledge in the fields of trauma, surgical critical care, and acute care surgery.
Job Description
- Provide swing shift support for surgical services in a busy Level 1 trauma center
- Manage perioperative care and treatment of surgical patients
- Identify and initiate treatment for life-threatening conditions
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervising trauma surgeons
- Communicate effectively during transitions of care
Requirements
- Must have valid State of California R.N./N.P. License
- Must have valid State of California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number
- Must have National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners
- Must have valid AGACNP certification
- Must have BLS (BAR) and ACLS (ART) certifications
- Must be able to obtain medical staff privileges

Compensation Information
The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $130,000 - $180,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
We are a California employer - please note that a California residency is required upon start date. This opportunity is not eligible for a Conrad 30 Waiver.
