Clinical Coordinator
The Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for the ongoing development and coordination of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program, including program development, establishing goals and objectives, maintaining relevant policies and procedures, patient education, staff education and development, financial analysis, materials development, and marketing support.
Job Description
- Oversee the development, coordination, and daily operations of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update program policies, procedures, and education materials for both patients and clinical staff.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director, Executive Director, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to drive program growth, operational efficiency, and patient-centered care.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor performance metrics to ensure compliance with MBSAQIP standards and optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage outcomes data collection and reporting in partnership with the clinical data abstractor, utilizing MDNet and other tools for continuous improvement.
- Support marketing efforts, financial analysis, and staff development to enhance program visibility, sustainability, and clinical excellence.
Requirements
- A diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN.
- BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Illinois.
- 3-5 years of previous experience in a clinical setting.

Salary Information
Salary range: $32.25 - $54.35 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
