Interventional Cardiologist

A regional hospital is looking for a locum Interventional Cardiologist starting ASAP! This position offers ongoing shifts with a 24-hour on-call schedule from 7 AM to 7 AM.

Job Description

• Practice setting: Inpatient/EMTALA call
• Average number of clinic patients per day: No ambulatory work
• Number of Interventional Cardiologists in group: 2
• Will other Interventional Cardiologists be present during locum's coverage? Yes
• Patient age demographic: Adult patient population
• Documentation system/EMR: Epic
• Required procedures:
  • Balloon Angioplasties
  • Coronary Angioplasty
  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • Heart Catheterization
  • Coronary Angiograms
• General cardiology responsibilities: Expected to respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital and perform general cardiology consults as needed.
