Interventional Cardiologist

A regional hospital is looking for a locum Interventional Cardiologist starting ASAP! This position offers ongoing shifts with 24-hour on-call responsibilities from 7 AM to 7 AM.

Job Description

• Practice setting is inpatient with EMTALA call
• Average number of clinic patients per day: No ambulatory work
• Number of Interventional Cardiologists in the group: 2
• Other Interventional Cardiologists will be present during locum's coverage
• Patient age demographic: Adult patient population
• Documentation system/EMR: Epic
• Required procedures include:
  • Balloon Angioplasties
  • Coronary Angioplasty
  • Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • Heart Catheterization
  • Coronary Angiograms
• General cardiology responsibilities include responding to all cardiology calls for the hospital and general cardiology consults as needed.
