Emergency Medicine Physician

Regional Hospital is building a pool of providers for their Emergency Medicine (EM) team. This position is for an Emergency Medicine residency trained ABEM certified/eligible Emergency Medicine Physician in a 12-bed emergency department, with approximately 10,500 annual patient visits.

Job Description

• Provide telehealth services including TeleNeuro, TelePsych, TeleICN, and TeleEmergency
• Work with 24/7 in-house respiratory therapists
• Utilize 24/7 CT/X-ray services, with all reads done in real time by radiologists
• Access MRI and formal ultrasound services on weekdays
• Primarily single coverage with 12-hour shifts, including second provider swing shifts on some days
• Enjoy flexible scheduling with a mix of day and night shifts; shift times are 8 AM to 8 PM and 8 PM to 8 AM
• Optional potential for academic affiliation and/or partial administrative role if interested
