Seeking a Hospitalist in Athens, OH for the following dates:

• August 8 - 13, 7 AM - 7 PM
• September 4 - 10, 7 AM - 7 PM
• September 18 - 24, 7 AM - 7 PM
• October 2 - 8, 7 AM - 7 PM

Job Description

• EMR: EPIC
• Daily census: 20-25 patients per team
• Nightly admissions: Low night admissions (5-10 is a lot and it's early in the night)
• Physician shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM (2 physicians) and 7 PM - 7 AM (1 physician)
• Daily encounters: 10-15
• APP shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM (2 APPs)
• Daily encounters: 7-10
• Number of ICU beds: 8 (Open ICU)
• Specialty coverages: cardiologist, neurologist, OB, pulmonology
• Procedures required: Due to open ICU, hospitalists need to be skilled in intubation and preferably central lines. Hospitalists respond to codes.
• They have 31 med-surg beds/private rooms. They can double up if needed.
