Pulmonary Critical Care Locums Coverage

We are in need of Pulmonary Critical Care locums coverage in July!

Job Description

• Dates of Coverage: July 7-9
• Details: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday to Sunday, rounding in ICUs (CVICU, MICU, and CCU)
• Rounding on critically ill patients, management of ventilators, and management of shock
• Take phone calls from 5 p.m. - 8 a.m., remotely with the rare need to return to the hospital
• CV surgery support 24/7 with ECMO management done by them
• Required Procedures: Bronchoscopy
• Support Staff: Weekday APRN support in CVICU, MICU, and CCU; APRN support on the weekend for CVICU
• Reason for coverage: currently short one physician and in the process of recruiting full-time positions
• FTE: Locum Tenens coverage one week per month in June, July, and August
• Must be able to perform Bronchoscopy
• Must be available to cover dates needed
• EMR: Cerner
• No direct admissions on the service, consulting work only
• The anticipated census would be approximately 20 - 30 patients

Weekend Requirements

• 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. rounding per job description

On-Call Requirements

• 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. remotely with the rare need to return to the hospital
