Urology Locum Coverage

Looking for full-time Urology locum coverage beginning in July! Providers submitted to this position will be cross-credentialed to provide call coverage at three locations. Call shifts will vary between one or multiple of these facilities.

Job Description

• Start: July, or as soon as available
• Duration: 6+ months
• Assignment: 1-2 weeks a month of 24-hour call
• Response times less than 30 minutes
• Setting: Inpatient
• Patients per day: 6-8 consults
• Support staff includes 2 other physicians, 5 RNs, and 2 MAs for our surgeon and 3 APPs
• When on hospital call, it would be more general urology with only emergent cases being done in the OR and the others punted to the surgeon the following day

Requirements

• Required procedures include:
  • Cystoscopy
  • Lithotripsy
  • Nephrectomy
  • Transurethral resection
  • Prostatectomy
  • Pyelolithotomy
