Functional Medicine Physician

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Functional Medicine Physician to join their team in Encino, CA. You will provide direct patient care, discussing patient symptoms and concerns and performing thorough examinations to diagnose their medical problems and prescribe medication or create a treatment plan if necessary.

Job Description

• Provide comprehensive exams and follow-up
• Assist in the development, promotion, and delivery of brain health
• Order and administer tests including bloodwork
• Utilize nutraceutical, pharmacological, neurophysiological, and behavioral approaches in the treatment of patients and families
• Manage patient case load: completing timely reports, maintaining charts, addressing patient concerns, and ensuring the privacy and proper handling of patient information in accordance with State and Federal regulations
• Remain current with functional medicine, brain imaging, psychiatric, pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical
• Assess potential causes and effects of toxic, metabolic, infectious, inflammatory, hormonal, and other factors
• Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc.

Requirements

• Board certified in Functional Medicine or Primary Care
• Current California license or willing to obtain
