Flight Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

We are potentially hiring for a qualified civilian Flight Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Job Description

• Full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:20 AM to 4:20 PM

Requirements

• Possesses a doctor of medicine degree or a doctor of osteopathy degree from an approved school of medicine or osteopathy
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Current board certification in Aerospace Medicine is highly recommended; if not board certified, must show proof of completion of any medical residency program and have a minimum of 3 years of U.S. military Flight Surgeon experience
• Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency
• Minimum of 35 hours of direct patient care in the past year
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the last 10 years as a privileged flight surgeon at a U.S. Military installation
• Must be a U.S. citizen or meet the Department of Homeland Security's criteria for noncitizen nationals, lawful permanent residents, or aliens authorized to work in the United States
