    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

    Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes.

    Job Description

    • Work with a 20-year-old female patient who is bed-bound, receives medications, and G-tube feeds.
    • Day shifts are available, with all 7 days open. The family is flexible on schedule times, looking for a start time of 8 or 9 AM.

    Responsibilities

    • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
    • Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
    • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

    Requirements

    • Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
    • Current TB or chest X-ray.
    • Current BLS card.
    • One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
