Job Description
- Join our Nuclear Medicine Team at Mayo Clinic, where you will work alongside a large team of highly experienced CNMTs, Physicians, Radiochemists, and a Nuclear Pharmacist to deliver exceptional care to your patients.
- Work with and/or produce novel radiopharmaceuticals and image on cutting-edge scanners including PET/MRI, long bore PET/CT, and CZT SPECT/CT.
- Participate in a significant radiopharmaceutical production operation, including two on-site cyclotrons and a dedicated nuclear pharmacy to provide on-demand radiopharmaceuticals.
- Engage in a multidisciplinary theranostic approach to care, producing high-quality diagnostic images and delivering life-changing radiotherapeutics within our Comprehensive Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Center of Excellence.
- Opportunities to subspecialize throughout your career in areas such as General Nuclear Medicine, PET Oncology, PET/MRI, PET Research, Molecular Breast Imaging, Nuclear Cardiology, and Theranostics.
Requirements
- Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
- Must be board certified in nuclear medicine technology and maintain current licensure.
- Must be registered as a certified nuclear medicine technologist (CNMT) with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and maintain current licensure.
- If position requires rotations to PET, must be registered with the NMTCB as a Positron Emission Tomography technologist or obtain certification within 18 months of employment, and maintain current licensure.
- CPR/BLS Certified or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Schedule Details
Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to work varied hours. Majority are 8-hour shifts; several 10-hour shifts are also available. Full-time PET positions are available that do not include on-call responsibilities. Other positions may include PET as well as rotating to other work areas.
