Job Description
- Create and support an organizational culture where all employees are mission-driven, embody organizational values, and practice relationship-based care.
- Adhere to the primary value "the needs of the patient come first."
- Work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and provide an environment of safety that gives an alternative to restraints.
- Sit with and observe an assigned patient.
- Provide constant and alert observation for each assigned patient.
- Protect patient's safety and security by preventing patient harm to self, harm to others, harm from others, and flight risk.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Patient care or healthcare-related field experience preferred; however, on-the-job training is provided.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, which include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Promote team building.
- Self-directed and able to adapt to unpredictable situations.
License or Certification
- BLS certification required within 1 week of start date.
Compensation Detail
- $20.00 - $21.21

Schedule Details
- Hours and shifts vary depending on department needs. 16 hours required every 4 weeks.
Weekend Schedule
- 8 hours required to be on a weekend. Holiday rotation required.
