Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join an established and collegial department. Job Description

• Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities in Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine, including Monday - Friday, day hours for outpatient pulmonary medicine and sleep.
• Provide consults and management for a wide variety of pulmonary and sleep-related disorders.
• Conduct clinic-based visits, hospital consults, and pulmonary procedures (diagnostic bronchoscopy and basic pleural procedures).
• Manage sleep-related breathing disorders and interpret overnight oximetry; additional opportunities include polysomnogram interpretation, management of sleep behavior disorders, parasomnias, insomnia, and restless legs if the candidate has additional sleep training.
• Primary management of critically ill medical and surgical patients in a busy 12 bed ICU as part of Critical Care Medicine responsibilities.
• Education opportunities available with rotating Family Medicine Residents.

Requirements

• Pulmonary and critical care credentials required.
• Strong preference for Sleep Medicine training.
• Flexibility in time allocation across patient care practices will be considered depending on interest and skill sets.
