    Job Description

    The McKesson Corporate Strategy and Business Development (CSBD) organization is seeking to add a Senior Manager within its Stakeholder Intelligence team, reporting directly to the Head of Market Intelligence, Corporate Strategy and Business Development - Stakeholder Intelligence. In this challenging role, this individual will be responsible for supporting enterprise-wide thought leadership and helping to develop clear articulation of our future value proposition aspirations and growth path options to achieve these aspirations for McKesson's priority growth markets.

    This person will conduct deep primary and secondary research to generate unique insights, improve our offerings and identify potential sales opportunities. At times, this person will need to be able to work independently on complex and/or undefined tasks. In addition, this team will work closely with BU and Corporate stakeholders to develop insights for key strategic discussions. Ultimately, this person is responsible for leveraging qualitative and quantitative research to develop informed perspectives that fuel our success within biopharma services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Establish analytical frameworks and conduct complex business analyses of industry trends
    • Synthesize market data into business insights through conduct of external/internal research and data gathering
    • Maintain segmented map of the market landscape - both for customers and relevant service providers
    • Develop clear articulation of our future value proposition aspirations within target market segments (e.g., biopharma services)
    • Leverage all market, customer and competitive insights, along with product portfolio perspectives, to define targeting strategies for the organization
    • Develop collaborative and productive working relationships with stakeholders across the enterprise
    • Contribute to the strength of CSBD's team culture and community

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    • 3-5+ years of experience working in biopharma or biopharma services organization(s) in either research or commercial functions (e.g., portfolio strategy, R&D operations, brand marketing, market access, commercial operations, etc.)

    Critical Skills

    • Evaluating industry trends, developing long-term implications and recommending pragmatic strategies for new business opportunities
    • Understanding McKesson's businesses and portfolios to be able to inform implications
    • Ability to bring structure to ill-defined problems and intellectual leadership to problem solving; synthesize insights from analysis and ensure credible, actionable recommendations
    • Financial modeling know-how and experience with financial planning, budgeting, and capital allocation
    • Working with ambiguity and putting structure around problems/tasks with limited guidance
    • Managing discrete threads of work independently and delivering high-quality work products
    • Ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization, present insights, and promote ideas and proposals persuasively
    • Knowledge of industry trends, economic drivers and policy across healthcare

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in business or finance, or related field or equivalent experience
    • MBA or other relevant master's program strongly preferred

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

    Our Base Pay Range for this position

    $93,800 - $156,300
