Job Description

• McLeod Health is opening a new Outpatient Surgery Center in Carolina Forest with a Monday-Friday schedule. No weekends, nights, or holidays required.
• This is a hospital-employed opportunity with an excellent compensation package, retirement plans, and benefits.
• Enjoy 30 days of PTO, 5 CEU days, and a $2,500 CEU allowance.
• Signing bonus: $15,000 for a 1-year commitment, $30,000 for a 2-year commitment, and $45,000 for a 3-year commitment.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate from an approved school of Nursing and hold a current SC license as a registered nurse.
• Graduate from an approved Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation.
• Must have successfully completed the certification examination administered by the AANA Council on Certification.
• Must comply with the criteria for biennial recertification as defined by the AANA Council of Recertification.
• Hold current SC official recognition as a CRNA.

Experience Required

• Candidates must be able to perform all areas of anesthesia and be willing to work with anesthesiologists on a variety of cases.
• New grads are accepted if graduated from an accredited school of Nurse Anesthesia.

McLeod Health began its outreach into Carolina Forest in 2016 to meet the expanding healthcare needs of the Myrtle Beach area. A 43-acre campus, McLeod Health Carolina Forest will be home to a seven-building campus offering a variety of services. Currently, we have three buildings that house a wide variety of physician practices and outpatient services including Family Medicine, Cardiology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Pulmonology, General Surgery, Digestive Health, Rheumatology, Rehabilitation, and our new free-standing Emergency Department. Additionally, McLeod Occupational Health operates a nearsite clinic for area business and industry employees and their families.

Our facility in Carolina Forest is an extension of McLeod Seacoast Hospital, offering the fastest growing market access to a stand-alone ED and a multi-specialty medical building. The Carolina Forest Emergency Department has handled over 65,000 visits in the past five years. In addition to the Outpatient Surgery Center, our Carolina Forest facility plans to open a 48-bed hospital in 2026.
