Academic Hospitalist (BE/BC Internal Medicine)

Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville, CA, is currently seeking an Academic Hospitalist to join our multi-specialty group, Desert Valley Medical Group. This is a full-time, employed opportunity with a strong academic component, working with Internal Medicine residents.

Job Description

• Will be employed by Desert Valley Medical Group, a multi-specialty group affiliated with Desert Valley Hospital.
• Day shift Hospitalist with academic responsibilities.
• Actively involved with IM residents: rounding and serving as core faculty for the IM Residency Program.
• Open ICU; procedures preferred but not required.
• Some Primary Care shift coverage preferred.
• Work Schedule: Traditional Work Schedule: Monday to Friday schedule (8 AM to 5 PM) + 1 weekend/month.
• Located in Victorville, CA, 45 minutes from Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga.
• Base salary starting at $275,000/year, plus semi-annual production bonuses.
• Sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement will be given.
