Join our team as a Locum Tenens Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician in New Jersey. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on pediatric care.

Job Description

• Provide care in a Pediatric Emergency Department with 69,000 annual emergency department visits and 24,000 annual pediatric visits.
• Work in a 14-bed Pediatric Emergency Department with 11 private rooms and a Pediatric Fast Track area.
• Collaborate with a full complement of pediatric subspecialists on site.
• Utilize the Paragon EMR system for patient documentation.
• Shift types include varied hours: 7a-4p, 10a-10p, 3p-12a, and 10p-7a.
• Weekend requirements are included, but there are no on-call requirements.

Requirements

• Must have an active New Jersey license and DEA at the time of presentation.
• Must have a clean file and submit an EPA; if any "yes" questions arise, send NPDB.
• Must be ABEM board certified or board eligible.
• ACLS certification is required, and PALS certification is needed only if pediatric boarded and requesting moderate sedation.

Benefits

• Emergency/temporary privileges can be granted after the MEC meeting with approval from the Medical Director.
• Temporary privileges are valid for 120 days.
