    Diagnostic Radiologist

    We are seeking board-certified or board-eligible diagnostic radiologists to join a locum tenens assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to provide crucial radiology support for a facility experiencing staffing shortages. Below are the details of this assignment:

    Job Description

    • Location: Near Penitas, TX.
    • Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient services, including telehealth.
    • Shift Details: 8-10 hours per day, regular shifts with no overnight call required.
    • Call Requirements: None; focus on reading studies on-site.
    • Patient Volume: Primarily diagnostic study reviews.
    • Emergency Privileges: Fast-track credentialing is available.

    Requirements

    • Licensure: Must hold a Texas medical license or be eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
    • Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
    • Certifications Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
    • Fellowship: Preferred but not required.

    Additional Details

    • Trauma Level: Facility is a Level 2 trauma center.
    • EMR System: Cerner.
    • Support Staff: No advanced practice provider supervision is required.
    • Travel & Lodging: Arrangements will be reimbursed.
