Inpatient Psychiatrist

Seeking an inpatient psychiatrist to join our team! The primary position will be on the inpatient unit with periodic floating to the medical units and emergency department in a Consult Liaison capacity.

Job Description

• Inpatient psychiatrist will be caring for assigned patients on our 40-bed adult unit
• 7on/7off schedule
• Psychiatrists will have access to a full spectrum of care options for individuals with treatment-resistant mood and psychotic disorders ranging from child/adolescent to geriatric age groups

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry

Responsibilities & Duties

• Patient population: 18+ for acute care, with inclusion of geriatric psychiatry
• Complete daily rounding and timely documentation on assigned patients
• Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary treatment team that includes providers, nursing, therapy, and support staff
• Call rotation
