Medcare Staffing is seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for Brookhaven, GA.

Job Description

• Enjoy a flexible schedule that gives you real work-life balance; work three days one week and four the next, which means you'll have 3 to 4 days off every week to recharge and spend time doing what you love.
• In this role, you'll be the sole provider on-site, managing a mix of urgent care and primary care visits for patients ages 2 and up. You'll have the autonomy to make clinical decisions while still being supported by a dedicated team.
• On average, you'll see around 35 patients during a 12-hour shift, just under three patients per hour, giving you time to provide thoughtful, quality care to each individual.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of medical coding, billing practices, and reimbursement procedures
• Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and bloodborne pathogen standards
• Proficient in commonly used PC applications such as Microsoft Office, email, and internet browsers; comfortable navigating electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Prior experience in occupational health, including continuing medical education (CME) standards, drug screening protocols, and workplace health practices
