    Physician - Non-Invasive Cardiologist

    Job Description

    • Clinic rotation: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with shared call for Echo readings on weekends.
    • Provide comprehensive evaluation and management services in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
    • Interpret EKG, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, and stress tests.
    • Perform trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE) and Holter/event monitor reviews.
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote optimal patient care standards.
    • Educate patients and families on health, treatments, and community resources.
    • Document all patient care activities within the electronic medical record.
    • Participate in physicians meetings and assist in policy formation as needed.
    • Maintain current licenses and credentialing requirements.
    • Engage in professional development and stay current with continuing medical education.

    Requirements

    • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
    • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive).
    • Fellowship-trained in Cardiology.
    • Clean malpractice history is essential.
    • Strong preference for candidates who are Nuclear and Echo certified.
    • Ability to demonstrate ties to Oregon (family or residency prior to application).

    Licensure and Certification Requirements

    • Must hold an active Oregon medical license or be willing to obtain one.
    • DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
    • Copy of the NPDB self-query report is required.
