Join a well-established cardiology program in the scenic region of Western Nebraska. This full-time position invites a fellowship-trained non-invasive or invasive cardiologist who is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible/certified in cardiovascular disease. Job Description

• Collaborate within a team of two primary cardiologists and a robust support team for call and complex cardiac procedures.
• Work alongside a diverse group of specialists, including six cardiothoracic surgeons and nine interventional cardiologists.
• Provide patients with unique options for high-quality heart care through a partnership with the Regional West Medical Center.
• Stay at the forefront of innovation by utilizing the latest evidence-based technologies and procedures.
• Offer patients access to cutting-edge care through participation in the latest clinical trials.
• Contribute to a multi-disciplinary approach ensuring top-tier care for every patient.
• Provide on-call coverage on a 1:3 rotation for nights and weekends with limited weeknight responsibilities.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Required
• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease - Required
• Active Nebraska medical license or in the process of obtaining - Required
• Completion of a fellowship prior to start - Required
• Preferred: Clean malpractice history
• Note if visa support is required for J1 or H1B - Required

License and Certification Requirements

• Fellowship-trained in Cardiology
• Board certification in Internal Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease
• Active license in Nebraska (or in application process)
