The Henry Ford Jackson Division of Gastroenterology is inviting applications for a Board Eligible/Certified Gastroenterologist with ERCP certification. This role offers a unique opportunity within a progressive GI hospital program supported by a dedicated staff. Our facility is equipped with a hospital-owned endoscopy center and outpatient clinic located on campus, ensuring convenient access for patient care. Situated in Jackson, Michigan, you'll be part of a vibrant community with easy access to larger cities like Ann Arbor, Lansing, and Detroit.

Job Description

• Provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Manage rounds and clinic responsibilities, averaging a patient load in line with practice standards.
• Collaborate with APPs for clinic coverage and hospital support.
• Participate in teaching opportunities through our GME program.
• Utilize a broad knowledge of gastroenterology to execute moderately complex assignments.
• Contribute to the sharing of patient care pathways within the Henry Ford Medical Group.
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities on a 1:6 ratio, including some weekends.
• Perform additional job-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology.
• Clean malpractice and license history.
• Current COVID and flu vaccinations.
• 5-8 years of GI experience preferred but not required.
• ERCP certification is a must (consideration for further proctoring is available).
• ITIL and PMP certifications preferred.

License and Certification Requirements

• Active Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must maintain certification status.
