Job Description

• Perform routine physics reviews and maintain quality assurance procedures.
• Analyze plans conducted by therapists using portal dosimetry for patient-specific QA.
• Provide necessary support to the Lapeer operation while collaborating with peripheral support staff from Flint.
• Work on-site every Tuesday, with potential additional days based on quality assurance needs.
• Conduct chart checks and utilize working knowledge of IMRT, SRS, and related techniques.

Requirements

• Board certification in ABR or CCPM, with preference for local candidates.
• Experience in outpatient radiation oncology services.
• Familiarity with Eclipse treatment planning system.
• Strong skills in machine and patient QA processes.

License and Certification Requirements

• Current and valid medical physicist license as per state regulations.
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology is mandatory.
