Join our dynamic team as a Pediatrician in the Fresno, CA area. This position offers permanent placement opportunities in rural clinic sites outside of Fresno and Visalia, CA. Our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) group operates 30 clinic sites in the Fresno and surrounding areas, with the furthest location being one hour from Fresno. Most physicians reside in the Fresno or Visalia areas.

Job Description

• Competitive base salary offered with monthly incentive bonuses based on patient volumes.
• Federal loan assistance programs available through CALS Cares and NHSC, with potential loan forgiveness up to $300K.
• Utilize Athena EMR in a growing organization expected to see over 1 million visits this year.
• Free transportation provided to the clinic for patients in need.
• J-1 visa and H1-B visa (cap-exempt status) holders are encouraged to apply; J-1 visas processed through the HHS waiver program.
• Work an 8-hour day with regular clinic hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional late shifts on Mondays from 11 AM to 8 PM.
• Experienced call center triages phone calls, minimizing interruptions for physicians; only one week of phone call duty per year as the first physician on call.
• Full support team to maximize patient flow, including 2 MAs and one receptionist per physician, with each physician receiving 3 rooms.
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking MAs available for assistance.
• On-site X-ray and lab services with fast results.
• Federal Tort reform malpractice insurance provided at no cost if you leave the practice.
• Full benefits package including low-cost medical, dental, vision, FSAs, accident insurance, paid LTD insurance, and a 401K with a 5% match after 6 months.
• Enjoy 26 days of PTO plus 9 paid holidays and your birthday off, along with CME time and reimbursement.
• Holiday and weekend hours available at extra pay rates.
• Group has its own accredited Family Medicine residency program and a PA program, with a new NP training program started in late 2022; teaching interest is a plus but not required for preceptor opportunities.
• Supervising physician opportunities available with extra compensation, though not required.
• In-house specialists available in orthopedics, neurology, cardiology, ophthalmology, sports medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, nephrology, vascular, etc.
