Join our dynamic team as a Physician specializing in Hematology/Oncology - Transplant and Cellular Therapy. This position offers the opportunity to work in both inpatient and outpatient settings in northern California.
Job Description
- Provide direct inpatient and outpatient care for patients with hematologic malignancies, including management of cellular therapy (e.g., CAR-T) and autologous/allogeneic stem cell transplantation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including transplant coordinators, nurse navigators, and specialty RNs to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
- FACT-accredited for autologous, allogeneic, and marrow transplants.
- NMDP member institution.
- Strong referral base across urban, suburban, and rural areas.
- Utilize Epic EMR and advanced practice technology.
- Benefit from 1:1 RN coverage, transplant RN coordinators, and full clinical support staff.
- Experience with CAR-T and immune effector cell therapies preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to collaborative patient care.
Requirements
- Active California medical license.
- Board certification or eligibility in Hematology (and/or Medical Oncology).
- Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology with a focus on cellular therapy and/or stem cell transplantation.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday (outpatient), inpatient available on weekends.
Length of Position
- 3+ months, starting ASAP with 90-120 days for privileging.
