Medstaff is seeking a board-certified Radiologist for remote teleradiology locum tenens coverage for two hospital sites in central Pennsylvania, starting July 2025 for an ongoing assignment.

Job Description

• Setting: Remote (Teleradiology) - supporting two hospital-based inpatient sites
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, with shift options:
  • 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Call: None - No weekends or after-hours required
• Start Date: July 2025 (Emergency privileges and temps available for clean background)
• Coverage Sites: Two locations outside of Pittsburgh
• Daily Volume: 80-100 reads/day (RVUs: 60-70)
• Modalities: XR, CT, MR, US, NM, Flouro
• Sub-specialty Mix: ER, MSK, Neuro, Nuc Med, Flouro, Mammo Screens & Diagnostics
• Light IR Procedures:
  • Biopsies: Thyroid, lung, bone (CT & US-guided; no liver or renal)
  • Drainages: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscesses, chest tubes, cysts
  • Lumbar Punctures: Diagnostic LPs, Myelograms (no epidurals)
  • Arthrograms: Joint injuries (knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, ankle)
• Technology:
  • EMR: Meditech
  • PACS: Merge
  • Dictation: Fluency

Requirements

• Active PA Medical License
• ABR Certification (MD or DO)
• Comfortable with light IR and broad general radiology
